What’s up everyone?  This is the first blog of my young life so try not to bash me too much.  My name is Jake and I am one of the social media/PR intern.  I will have opinions that will cause some more conversation, yet isn’t that what this is about? With that being said, I just want to say that the Chicago Cubs are the best team in the history of the Earth and Chicago is the best city in the history of the Earth.  See?  Instant controversy.

I am an intern at SHARPIE!!! and will continue to blog about my activities here and within the entire company.  DO NOT WORRY, I will be talking about interesting stuff and the fact that only a few people in this company know my name, I can probably get away with a lot. Sooooo… look for me to take you readers into the world of Sharpie and talk about the numerous things going on.

Alright, now that we got that out of the way, let me give you a background of who I am because let’s face it, the readers would like to know who is entertaining them.  I was born in California, moved to Chicago, only to go to school in New York… so I have lived in the West, Midwest, and the East (I guess that’s where those places are).  I went to college at Syracuse (best basketball program in college), so no one can complain about snow until they know about what central New York goes through.

So here’s the deal.  We need to (as Sharpie puts it) UNCAP WHATS INSIDE… this means that I will be connecting everything that is going on at Sharpie as well as my life as well as my colleagues as well as sports as well as things I learn as well as other stuff that I have yet to think about…you get the picture.  Lets just say that my mind is always on and always thinking of random junk so…ENJOY
